CMP / Optical Polishing

   Hayward Quartz has surface treatment and polishing equipment to meet a wide range of surface finish and flatness callouts. Surface finishes can be controlled by using a specific sized lapping grit. Capability is up to 500mm diameter. For mechanically polished parts, our commercial scratch/dig is 80-50. Tighter specs can be achieved, pending geometry of the part. Parts can be made in-house from scratch, or polishing services may be offered on a labor-only basis, using customer-supplied material.
