Cleanness Testing Engineer

The selected candidate will work on projects for cleaning and testing of quartz, ceramic and silicon materials in a lab environment supporting various production, washing and clean room departments.

Essential Functions
 

• Ensure consistency and quality of chemicals and materials for cleaning and testing
• Regular inspection of acidic solutions for washing line  with using chemical titration, conductometric/spectrometric methods
• Sample preparation and inspection of residual trace elements, particles and organics on production parts with using ICP-MS, LPC and UV/VIS, FT-IR, Raman spectroscopic methods
• Experience with chemistry, chemical testing and  UV/VIS, FT-IR, Raman spectroscopic methods
• Knowledge of chemistry and  materials science
• Knowledge of Microsoft office, including Excel, PowerPoint
• Basic knowledge of statistics and quality monitoring metrics

 Candidate must be comfortable in a lab, clean room environment and be able to collaborate closely for research and development with engineers from different departments.

Basic Qualifications
 

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Science, Technology, Engineering and 3 years of chemistry or materials science/engineering experience OR
• Master's Degree in Chemistry, Science, Technology, Engineering and 1 year of chemistry or materials engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications
 

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Materials Science and Engineering
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management

Genral Janitoral office and facility cleaning

Duties/Tasks would include:

1. Responsible for cleaning at 1500 and 1700 Corporate Way Buildings (lunchroom, restroom, offices, production area, conference rooms)
2. Responsible for mopping, waxing floors, and hallways as scheduled

4. Keep facilities clean and move office equipment when request

Manage Quality Assurance by supporting both internal and external customers

Reports to:    Vice President of Operations

Duties/Tasks:

1. Manage or assist in the maintenance of all Quality Management Systems functions and responsibilities.  Communicate essential information stated in the Quality System Manual and HQT Quality Policy.
2. Define, implement, maintain, and improve process control systems that satisfy needs of existing OEM customer base and future OEM customers.
3. Facilitate Management Review Meetings. Document quality metrics for quality systems, collect as well as analyze data, and publish findings.
4. Oversee the maintenance of the Calibration Master List in addition to the monitoring of internal calibration tool status.
5. Perform internal audits of company departments to determine if process is present, documentation process has been implemented, and effective.
6. Identify and address gaps or discrepancies between process controls and documentation.  Interface with all levels from management to operator.
7. Promote and verify compliance with all customer specifications and requirements.
8. Represent HQT interest in quality in all interactions especially during customer audits and third party quality audits (such as ISO 9001-2015 and SSQA).
9. Maintain and improve corrective action system to support entire quality system.  Investigate root cause and corrective actions of internal and external non-conformances.  Assist in the maintenance of internal MRB System.

Clean line and analytical administrator

Observe and report preventive maintenance for machines and equipment, such as ultrasonic tanks, generators, energy meters, temperature thermometer, and laser particle count.

Maintain supplies inventory, such as cleanroom bags, acid, alcohol, and gloves etc.
